Problem: The website content was outdated and did not clearly reflect the organization's services, tone, or community focused mission. Key pages lacked engaging visuals and clear messaging. The goal was to refresh the site's content and improve upon the clarity, consistency, and user experience.
Action: Reviewed the website in it's entirety and identified outdated content, gaps in messaging, and general opportunities for improvement. The first step was to overhaul the home page and create a welcome video that would be displayed when someone first enters the website. I then rewrote many pages, updated visuals, and ensured consistent messaging across the site. I made sure to collaborate with internal teams to verify accuracy of information as well as manage any ongoing updates.
Skills Utilized:
Website content strategy
Copywriting & editing
Cross team Collaboration
Outcome: The refreshed website felt more modern and clear, and was by far much more user-friendly. Visitors could now easily understand services and navigate key pages. Most importantly, the site now better reflected the organization's voice and mission and provided a stronger foundation for ongoing marketing and community outreach efforts.
